Yes my undergraduate degree is C.S. in initials for Cognitive Science. After undergrad, I worked briefly as a Technical Information Coordinator capturing business requirements for application development and working alongside software development and IT teams. I was drawn to coding because I wanted to be a part of the team that was creating new solutions and figuring out how to fix bugs.
After trying out some MOOCs in coding, I went back to in person instruction at my local community college in 2018. I grew more interested in the software tools used to analyze data. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Computer Science in order to learn the fundamentals of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) and dive deeper into why certain data metrics provide a more accurate analysis.
There will always be problems to solve. Problems can be broken down into smaller chunks to focus on what pieces need to be set in place for the end solution to come together.
Current Status: Actively looking for full-time opportunities to apply my skills in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Graduated Aug 2024.
